A Valais specialty, delicious served with whipped cream!

Ingredients :
- 70 g dark (dried) sultana grapes
- 2 tablespoons of red wine (e.g. dôle)
- 180 g of Valais rye bread, finely diced
- 1.5 dl of water
- 4 tablespoons red wine (e.g. dôle)
- 1 dl of elderberry or blackcurrant syrup, undiluted
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- 1.5 dl of cream, lightly beaten
Recipe :
- Soak the raisins in the wine for approx. 12 p.m. covered.
- Sprinkle the bread with the water and wine, soak for approx. 12 p.m. covered. Crush the soaked bread very finely with a fork.
- Mix soaked grapes and syrup with the bread.
- Heat the butter in a saucepan. Heat the bread mass while stirring.
Trick :
Presentation: serve the “Hollermües” with the whipped cream.
